I've done 2 sets of the quest and mission, and was in a group of 8 for both. Pretty nice way to encourage grouping considering people all do them in HM. This would also made protector/guardian titles easier, just need to wait until the mission comes around.
Zaishen Mission - needs help in Eternal Groove.

I like the idea, would like to see a couple of tweaks maybe, but i'm happy enough for now. Thanks Anet, hopefully we will see even more awesome additions around August time?

Yeah, this helps with completeing HM missions a lot. Heck, I vanquished Perdition Rock while I was out there (had killed half the guys before getting coldstone so I thought I might as well keep going).

ANet's doing the Blizz strat: see what works, why, and then implement it.
While not really expanding too much on the gameplay, they're still great additions to the game.

I like how it makes it easy to find a partner for 2/6 parties. Not as good as 7-heroes would be, but still nice.

People really like to bash on WoW for stealing so many ideas, but all of those "ideas" are overall improvements to the game and its genre. Strategy games are in a very similar boat: if you don't adapt and include a very well produced and globally usuable feature in your strategy game (i.e. unit queing, unit hotkeys, etc.), it's going to be shunned for it.

Aye, the process usually goes like this:
New MMO comes out with new feature.
Blizzard copies and integrates feature.
New MMO now has nothing to draw away Blizzard fans.
Guild Wars worked by virtue of being extremely different from most MMOs. GW2 does not seem like it.

Thanks for your hard work, ANet! It's fun seeing crowds again and having ample PUG opportunities, warts and all .

I know exactly what you mean. I laughed when Blizzard stole Warhammer Online's thunder with Wintergrasp (large scale world PVP). Not to mention the oddly familiar achievements and title system. I'm currently working on my
"cartography" and "drunkard" titles in WoW. However, I think you are jumping the gun by assuming GW2 won't bring anything new to the table.

not sure if this has been mentioned before.
Wouldnt it be better if each type of zaishen daily (bounty, mission, pvp) had more than one available per day.
ie.
Missions: have one from proph, one factions, one nightfall, and one Eye.
Bounty: same as above.
PvP: different types, 3 to choose from maybe?
I mean for me (and probably some players) I didnt actually have all my characters everywhere and everything done, which these dailies seem to expect.
I hope they already know this and add more choices.
/g'day.

Well, so far they have done good at cycling between the different campaigns. I imagine by this point they expect everyone playing to have all of the campaigns (especially with all of the Trilogy collections being sold).

These quests are exactly the same as what we have already done.
Just get a reward for it.
H/H is still the way to go.
Alll they did was make you think you are getting a new challenge when in fact you are just redoing the same thing you have been doing for the past 4 years (or however long you have played) No new challenges at all.

Thats a very poor way to look at it. First of all, not everyone has been on this game for 4+ years and done everything. As for the people who have been here since it was just Prophecies, well its great to see so many PUGs forming, especially in classic missions. Getting extra rewards is nothing to complain of either. I know i'm not the only one who appreciated seeing 5 districts at THK.

Thanks ANET will always take any bones thrown our way.
IMO this is grind, but glad to see renewed interest from many people. That is always a good thing. Did the Molotov bounty and it was kinda weird that Molotov's minions would spawn and you would get the message to defeat him, but he was up in the forest out of sight. Definitely caused some confusion for people. Thanks to the people who pointed that out in town.

The only reason I ever H/H'd is because there's nobody to group with. Now with dailies, there is at least enough people LFG that I can pick out the decent ones and avoid the excessive flagging and micromanagement I have to do.

It seems like those Zaishen-Quests will slowly lead me to quite a few titles.
Already Vanquished 2 areas due to the Quests, did 2 Mission in Hard mode in Master/with Bonuses....
Good job
I just wish I had more characters that have access to all the outposts and areas....
I could kill Molotov only on 2 chars.... would have been nice to do it on 5 or 6

PUG quality varies and not every PUG is good. PUGs failed me 5 times for the THK mission. They ran away to save their own lives when mursaats attack and left the king helpless for some reason.

Well yeah... As I stated earlier in this thread my Rrager PUG failed miserably. Its still a great turn of events. It opens people up to the idea of PUGing more.

You will never be able to "pick out the decent ones" because you dont know them which is why they are called pugs. I will still always go with guild or H/H because this way I know it will be done first try.
It gets annoying getting to the end or close to something and then have to restart because some idiot pug didnt know what they were doing or wont listen.

Not a poor way to look at it. Its the truth. The ONLY thing new is the rewards it offers. Still are doing the exact same thing. And as far as pugs forming that will change again very soon as soon as people remember why they stopped pugging to start.
This update would be great if it was something new but its not. Its the same ole stuff that ALOT have already done 100 times.
